TSB Announces Key Expansions for 2008
3/5/2008
Tennessee State Bank has planned several key expansions for 2008. The bank purchased property in Cocke and Jefferson Counties, as well as, an additional piece of property in Farragut at the very popular Turkey Creek development.

The Jefferson City Branch is slated to open in the spring with only minor improvements currently underway on an already existing bank site. Cocke County is slated for a summer opening. The Newport Branch should be a welcome advantage for the bank’s growing customers who come from that area. “More and more Jefferson and Cocke County residents have been joining our bank over the past decade. These branches will offer them the same products and services in more convenient locations,” says Todd Proffitt, President and CEO of Tennessee State Bank.

The Turkey Creek site is scheduled to be opened in late 2008. The multi-story structure will feature conference rooms that can be opened to the public for use much like a conference center. There may also be office space available to rent, as well, a practice that has become familiar with larger bank buildings the last several years.

“We are planning grand opening events at each of these locations for the next year,” says Robin Kurtz, Marketing Director with the bank. “This is an exciting time for our bank and certainly for our customers,” she adds.

“We look forward to becoming active members in each of these communities and can assure all of our current customers, and those looking to be our customers, the same great service and products. We are a true community bank and because of that dedication, our community and customers have continued to see growth within the bank. Not to mention the acknowledgements we have received from our customers who have consistently named us Best Bank in Sevier County,” says Proffitt.
